It's not just local rivalry, the bitterness goes much deeper than that. Derby fans have never forgiven Forest for taking on Brian Clough after his massive success at Derby in the early '70s. Football fans really do have long memories, even the ones who aren't old enough to remember it!

ReplyDeleteHi Jon/Jim, not being a local and only having Forest till the hammers are back i dont know much of the history.checked out stats and odds and being a local derby i'm predicting a 2-2 draw. Jan does it matter, a lose is a lose. on a plus side for you Derby losing should decrease your bill.
