CCC - the last day!

So the last day ....

I was playing Chris and let him score late on to draw and avoid relegation. Chris wasn't so happy as he is paying as much as Amy but not losing the team!
At the top Dan and Jane traded places in the playoffs with Dan making it at the final whistle.

Below shows the last day finances.
+ve is paying more and -ve paying less

so on the last day - Anna doubled the cost of her curry. Most of us would be very unhappy  but....
Mick's increased by far more as did Lyn and Amy.
Keith was better off by £1.68 at half-time but the second half saw him pay 24p more than at half time.
Paula and Andy were the ones that gained.

CCC update - two relegated at the bottom - all change for Kate and Neil

So After discovering last week that Pete and Anna were up for new teams at the top, this weekend saw both Kate and Neil relegated so they do get to choose new teams for next season.  The final relegation spot could be any of Chris (Birmingham - playing their game in hand tonight), Amy, Keith (both has a cheap year last year) and even Paula and Lyn could fall enough. I'm less than a tenner so I'm happy.

CCC update

So we know Pete is champion and has the free curry.  Anna will be second and definitely will be swapping Burnley for another team next season.

At the other end of the table it looks most likely that Kate will pay the most as Yeovil just don't seem to be able to hold on to a lead or a draw. And there is a strong chance that Neil will be second from bottom.  Any of Lyn, Chris, Keith and Amy could also be choosing another team next year. There is a slim chance that it could be Paula but unlikely.

CCC wise words - be careful what you wish for...

So when your team is doing well but you don't want to get promoted, you could indeed write to the club and say please slow down  bit.  When the team do slow down  bit and draw 5 and lose 8 matches with out a win so you start sinking down the table and pay more for your curry - remember it is your own fault.

Anna hasn't secured promotion yet as she was beaten by Colin but on a winning day for Dynamites and Pompey, Margs and Dave had wins with Bolton over Neil's Barnsley and Leeds over Lyn's Blackpool respectively.  Margs is under £10 since goodness knows when and Lyn is nearing £20!
