CCC Match report, updates & fixtures

Avoiding the clash of match and Saturday Christmas shopping, there were 1-2 away wins for Sue's Wolves at Lyn's Blackpool and Amy's Hull at Jim's Derby on Friday night.  Shirley's Blackburn V Dan's Brighton was postponed - presumably due to waterlogged pitch.

Keith's Cardiff restored their 3 point lead at the top of the table with a 1-0 away win at Pete's Leicester thanks to a Craig Bellamy goal.  Dave's Leeds came from 1-0 down to win 2-1 at home to Colin's Middlesborough with a brace from Becchio whilst Scott's Watford beat Mick's Forest 2-0.  at the bottom of the table, Ted's Sheffield Wednesday claimed much needed three points with a 2-0 win over Jane's Charlton.  For the other teams at the bottom, Kelly's Bristol City took the lead away against Jan's Ipswich but the home team equalised 21 minutes later and the match ended in a draw leaving kelly at the bottom of our table and paying the most for her curry.

Chris's Birmingham scored in 89th minute to equalise with Anna's Burnley in a 2-2 draw. Margs Bolton scored two penalties and two late goals but still lost 5-4 away at Peterborough at team not in CCC but bottom of the real table.

In the Late kick off Paula's Palace took the lead against Andy's Huddersfield but lost 2-1 after Clarke the 81st minute substitute scored in 90+3 minutes.
