So after an identity crisis (too complicated to explain..) we are back and running...
So who has seen the Olympic torch carried by the most people. My reckoning is below after Dave went for a hard day's work at Kew with Keith. Oh what luck, at tea break the Olympic torch was at the end of the road. Dave wasn't allowed on the copper's bike, but Keith did get to pose with number 44 whoever she was.
Name Number of torch bearers Number of locations
Dave 5 3
Asta 3 2
Paula 3 2
Margs 3 2
anyone else wish to be in the table with more than 1?
Also my mum (who isn't in the sweepsatke but saw 2 and 2 and took rubbish photos of both! :-) )
Keith, she looks like she's going to hit you with it if you try to get any closer.
ReplyDeleteI've seen 3 in 2 locations actually carrying and 2 cycling home with their torches on their backs
ReplyDeleteKeith, she's looking very wary of you lol!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I have seen 4 torch bearers in 3 locations as it came through Croydon on Monday, quite conveniently at lunchtime. Although it was rammed in town and no free drinks on offer. I definately have to say that Reigate was the best location!
Swansea = 2 torch bearers
ReplyDeleteEast Grinstead = 1
Dorking = 1
Guildford = 2
Held torch = 2
That must count right? :P
